[LPT Request] Best way to make money as a minor?

I'd love to have some extra money to save up for college with. I'm under 16, so I cannot legally have a real job in my area. What does everyone suggest I do to earn some money?

My brother would buy cases of candybars/skittles/reeeses etc at Costco and sell them to his classmates in between classes for triple what he paid for them. Once word got out that he was selling candy, kids were buying from him every day. He made a lot of cash!

Be careful though, someone did this when i was in highschool and it undercut the cafeteria emmensely, school administration had to get involved.

I did this a couple years ago and my candy got "confiscated".

I did this in elementary school. They would not have soda in the cafeteria, but you could bring it from home. I'd often bring sodas with me and sell them (for 0.50c but this is when you could get 12 packs for $2)

A guy at my public school did that with donuts. But the kid with the fake ID selling cigarettes made the most. Don't underestimate the blackmarket

I did this in middle school. it worked for a solid 4 months until everyone else decide to get into the market. competition was to steep so I cut my losses and bailed out. In those 4 months I made about 1500 though. Was a good start to my savings.

Be careful, I knew a kid that did this but everyone thought he ratted on someone and everyone ignored him and wouldn't buy his candy.

I do this at uni right now. I got a permit from the student council and I just carry a cooler with water, juice, cookies and chocolates with me. I sit in class and people ask me for stuff. Practically no work and the money comes to me. Best job evah.

That's what I did. Definitely works, especially if you can be consistent with the candy (which means figuring out consistent transportation to Costco/Sam's Club).

Cutting lawns. I also saw another post some months back, some kid made up flyers posting them in apartments/condos, offering door to dumpster service for trash. IIRC, he had certain pick up times so people could put trash outside the door. I know the time I spent living in a third floor condo, I would have paid well for skipping the whole trip to the dumpster and back thing. Good luck!

I did the door service this for awhile actually I made really good money as a pre teen. I could make 20$ or 30$ twice a week, which was good enough for a pre teen to have fun with.
